How to substitute a conventional, heavy, metallic die-cast combustion engine part by something lighter, more cost-effective and exhibiting a higher performance?
The Indebrás engineers accepted the challenge and developed a new plastic component able to endure the high engine temperatures.
But developing the same component in plastic was not enough.
The new geometry, the integration of electromechanical elements, sensors and sealing gaskets optimized the assembly time, simplified the customer processes and reduced end-user maintenance costs.

The old threaded temperature sensor was replaced by a new, snap-on version also developed and supplied by Indebrás.
