1966 Indebrás is founded by Mr. Jayme Rodrigues da Silva to manufacture fuel level sensors in São Paulo, Brasil.
   
1982 The world's first sealed fuel sensor for ethanol powered vehicles is designed, patented and manufactured.
1985 The first electronic module is developed and manufactured: the Ethanol Engine Coldstart Governor.
1989 Indebras becomes an OEM parts exporter for car manufacturers.

1995 Start of production of solenoid valves for ethanol fueled vehicles.

 
1996 The company moves to the new 6,000 m2 plant in São Paulo.

Indebrás is awarded with the Interaction Prize by Mercedes-Benz for the succesful joint engineering conducted during1995.

1998 The world's first plastic coolant flow manifold for explosion engines is engineered and manufactured.

2005 The first automotive fuel sender with ethanol/gas blend determination capability (STC) is presented at São Paulo Automec Show and at Frankfurt Automekanica.
